Bring Your Phone and Number

When you switch to StandUp wireless, we make it easy to bring your own device and keep using your current phone number.

Bring your own phone

StandUp Wireless allows you to Bring Your Own Device (BYOD). Enter the IMEI of the device you own and look below to make sure it will work with the StandUp network. Most unlocked GSM 4G LTE/5G handsets work on our network.

See a list of compatible phones

NOTE: Even if your phone appears on the list, it is not guaranteed to be compatible with our service. If you have a GSM phone that is not on this list, it may still be compatible with our service. An IMEI check is required to confirm the compatibility of your device. Alcatel

When you switch to StandUp Wireless, your phone isn’t the only thing you bring along. You can bring your number too, so it’s easy to stay connected to your family, friends, and important contacts.

Things to have on hand before you start:

  • Account Holder’s Full Name
  • Current Account Number
  • Account PIN or Password
  • Billing address

Follow these steps and give us a call:

1

Keep your old account active

Keep your account with the old carrier active until your phone number port is complete with StandUp Wireless.

2

Call us

Have your account number and account PIN or password ready and call 1-800-544-4441 (or 611 from your StandUp phone) and ask the customer care agent to help you port your phone number to start the process.

3

Wait, reboot, call

Wait the time frame given by your StandUp Wireless agent, and then reboot your phone. Try to make and receive a phone call. You should be good to go! Give us a call if you run into a problem.

NOTE: Account Number and Password/PIN required for moving a number is not usually the same as the login and password for a website with your old company.
