Lifeline Program Recertification

To keep your Lifeline benefit with StandUp Wireless, Federal and/or State regulatory authorities require active customers to recertify their eligibility once a year. If you do not take action we are required to turn your service off. USAC and StandUp Wireless will send you notices (mail, text, and/or email) when it is time to recertify. When the time comes here are your options:

Online

Visit the National Verifier (lifelinesupport.org) . Select the link that says, “Recertify today.” This will take you to an online form that will allow you to recertify your Lifeline program benefit.

By Phone

Call the Lifeline Recertification Hotline at 1-855-359-4299 and follow the prompts through the process.

By Mail

Around 90 days before to your recertification deadline, Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) will mail you a letter to your mailing address on file or primary home address. You will be required to complete the Recertification Form &(available in English and Spanish) and might be asked to provide proof of eligibility to maintain your benefit within 60 days of the mail-out date listed on your letter.

Can I reapply for services after failing?

Yes, if you believe you still qualify for the program, you may reapply for services with StandUp Wireless.

What if I fail to recertify?

You will be de-enrolled form the program and your service with StandUp Wireless will end. You will also lose access to your phone number. However, you can purchase a top up to keep your phone number active.

I can’t find the recertification forms online; can you provide them?

This is a Lifeline supported service. Lifeline is a government assistance program. Only eligible consumers may enroll in Lifeline. Eligibility is based on income or participation in certain government benefit programs and is determined by the National Verifier (documentation may be required). Lifeline benefits are non-transferable and limited to one per household (wireless or wireline). Customers who willfully make false statements in order to obtain a Lifeline benefit can be punished by fine, imprisonment, or being barred from the program. Plans include a minimum of 1,000 Minutes, Unlimited Text, and 4.5 GB of Data. Offers vary by state and service may not be available in all states or areas.
