With StandUp Wireless, you can stay connected to the resources you need. Thanks to the Safe Connections Act, victims of domestic violence can now quickly disconnect from their abuser’s phone plan, protecting their personal safety and privacy. Survivors experiencing financial hardship will be able to qualify and receive emergency Lifeline support for up to six months.

How Do I Apply for Lifeline through the Safe Connections Act?

1. If you qualify for Lifeline normally, click on the Apply Now button in the menu bar.
2. If you qualify for Lifeline through the Safe Connections Act, you need to go to www.LifelineSupport.org  and provide documentation for approval first. Once you’re done there, then you can come back and apply through StandUp Wireless. When it asks how you qualify, you can choose any program as your qualifying program.
   • How do you qualify under the Safe Connections Act?
     • Your household income is at or below 200% of the poverty level
     • You participate in WIC, CEP, or received a Pell grant.
