Lifeline Program Recertification
Lifeline Program Recertification
To keep your Lifeline benefit with StandUp Wireless, Federal and/or State regulatory authorities require active customers to recertify their eligibility once a year. If you do not take action, we are required to turn your service off.
HOW TO RECERTIFY:
Option 1 (Recommended) - Phone:
StandUp Wireless will send you an e-mail with your application ID number when it is time to recertify. Once you receive this e-mail, call the Lifeline Recertify hotline at 1-855-359-4299 and follow the prompts through the recertification process. Keep your application ID number handy for this phone call.
Option 2 – Online:
Visit the National Verifier (getinternet.gov). Select your state from the drop-down menu, then scroll down to the blue panel and click the button that says, “Recertify to Keep Lifeline.” This will take you to an online form that will allow you to recertify.
Option 3 - Mail:
88-80 days prior to your recertification deadline, Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) will mail you a letter to your mailing address on file or primary home address.
You will be required to complete the Recertification Form (available in English and Spanish) and might be asked to provide proof of eligibility to maintain your benefit within 60 days of the mail-out date listed on your letter. Please note that our application type as listed below, determines your method of recertification.
If you have Lifeline-related questions, please contact the Lifeline Support Center at 1-800-234-9473 (press 1 for English; press 2 for Spanish) or by email at LifelineSupport@usac.org.
